Martin Feuerhahn, Founder & CEO.
Martin graduated in 1993 as a Diplom Wirtschaftsingenieur from Paderborn University, with an integrated Master's Degree of Business Administration and Industrial Engineering. During the early years of his career, he was involved in several CAD/CAM related research projects for the German Car Industry and implemented CAD/CAM AutoCAD solutions.
From 1994 to 1999 he was Managing Director in Taiwan and Hong Kong for Actebis. There, he set-up a procurement office and grew the business to US$250 million annually. His responsibilities included managing the complete value chain for sourcing, price negotiation, package design, manuals, safety and CE approvals, RMA service concepts, quality control, logistic etc. In 1998, his business development for Greater China, Thailand, Korea and India led to the establishment of Actebis Hong Kong as a sales office for China and Southeast Asia.
In 1999, Actebis was sold to the OTTO group, and Martin went on to co-found city4u.com in Hong Kong, a pan-Asian city guide website. In 2000, he relocated Singapore to work for a venture capital group as "entrepreneur in residence," starting his own consulting business, Feuerhahn Consulting Pte Ltd.
In 2000, Martin founded MetaNewMedia GmbH in Dortmund and sold it in 2003. During this time, his clients included Medion AG and Materna, an IT service provider with more than 1000 employees.
Michael graduated from Dortmund University in 1998 with a Masters degree in IT (Dipl. Informatiker). He began his career with Materna, while he was at Dortmund University, serving as a software developer where he was responsible for the development of DX-Union in 1992, an automated fax system for mass distribution.
From 1997 to 1999, Michael served as Head of Sales for Materna's System Management Products. Before being promoted in 1999 to the Regional Manager for Asia Pacific. He established Materna's offices in Bangkok and Hong Kong, and successfully established Materna as global Hewlett Packard partner for the Anny Way Enterprise products. Anny Way is Materna's core product for Mobile Operators focusing on SMSC, MMSC, VMNO Solutions and other messaging and telecommunications services.
Michael joined BMC in 2002 as account manager Germany. His accounts included Bertelsmann, RWE, and Gerling.
Prior to establishing C2Call, Martin and Michael founded Actai in 2004. The purpose of Actai was to develop mobile content solutions for Mobile Network Operators and Internet Media companies. Actai's customers included Germany's largest MVNO, Aldi Talk and one of Germany's largest ISPs, the Freenet AG.
In May 2008, they spun off C2Call to incorporate C2Call GmbH in Werl, Germany. Then, they transferred all related IP to C2Call GmbH to prepare it for external funding and international expansion.
